Is 3800 all you can safely rev a good 235.
I'm pretty sure 292s can take that with no problem so certainly you can the 235 higher. No?
I've driven my current 250 for 60-80 mile trips at constant 3k and it hasn't caused any problems. But I have a huge radiator and low temp thermostat too.
