#41706 01/12/2005 3:42 AM | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 154 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 154 | hey guys. aquired a '69 C20. 4wd. however...being he genius i am in the heat of the moment, inepwerience being a factor, hooked the chain on the drag link. yeah, needless to say, it was stuck, and now..i have a bent drag link sitting by my garage. now, i have a '64 C20 4wd frame out abck. will the drag link for the steering work? like..were there any differences in the frame styles that would affect the switch?
i'd really appreciate any input. thanx guys. .samwise. 1969 K20 , with a '67 front clip. fleetside. 292, 3x1 offy, headers. sm465 4spd. getting put back together, almost ready for paint. doing it all myself. 19 and lovin' it. "proper" is so over-rated. .later days. .sam.
