I work at a Caddy dealer, and can't get anywhere with this one.........
I need to find out if anyone can modify a 4L60E to not require computer controls. I have to use late model, because of the removable bellhousing, otherwise I'd just get a 700R4.
I've got a 2.2L 4 cyl. for my daughter's Nash Metro project, and it has a narrow bellhousing pattern.
I've called Hughes, they can't do it. Our tranny guys at work have different opinions and don't know........
Worse comes to worse, I'll just run fully computerized OBD2 driveline, but carbs are cooler!
