This question has come up on the Inliners' BB a couple of times. Here is a link to one of the threads:
Inliners thread The image seems to be missing now, but I recall that the point "A" referred to is the lower aft fitting and the point "B" is the upper center fitting.
Does your engine have mechanical or hydraulic lifters. I have an old 1962 261 in my garage. I'll take the side cover off and see how it is set up for getting oil to the rocker arms.
