hope this is in the right spot,didnt know where else to put it. i got a 12 bolt from a 74 1/2 ton in my 49.when i tore the brakes apart yrs.ago i had a buddy bead blast the small parts,then stuck them in a ziplock bag.i've since bought a new hardware kit that has the springs and things like that in it but i will have to use a few of the old bigger pieces.should i paint these pieces or just coat them with wd-40 to prevent rust.i'm talkin like the e-brake arm,self adjusters,things like that.would like yur opinions........dave
