Got my cigars and a six pack ready to talk trannys. I have a 60 C10 that some time in it's life, the three speed was taken out and a four speed put in with the help of a torch. I'm going to put this back to original, I got another bell housing for it and I am trying to put a three speed tranny out of a seventies truck. The only problem so far is the front bearing retainer will not fit in the bell housing. I'm thinking I can take the retainer off and have it machined down so it will fit. Will this tranny work for me or should I be looking fot the right one. Any one got a match?
