Brady, I'm a little reluctant to reply to this one, after all the flak on your other post, but I'd reccomend putting on some sort of travel limiter to prevent problems on a sudden, hard bump. We use a steel cable on the race car suspension to keep the springs from getting out of shape, mostly when jacking the car for wheel changes, etc. If you use the right length of shock for your ride height, the shock will establish the lower limit of suspension travel before the springs get out of shape.
