Something to think about when hanging pedals off the firewall is strength. You will have to add support metal and maybe a bracket or two, if not you could break out the firewall. There are plenty of good kits for under the cab. It may seem like a lot money now, but two or three years from now when you are driving down the road, you won't even know you spent the money. Your brakes are the most important item on the truck, don't cut corners, do it once and do it the right way!!
