The rims might be ok, checking the site Jock linked in for the specs would be a good idea. Tires could be an issue, as lower profile tires tend to have lower load ratings. You'll want the tires to add up to at least 1 1/2 times the trucks empty weight to allow for load (passengers, feul, etc). I have seen issues with tires blowing out due to insufficient load capacity, especially with low profiles on a truck. The one that comes to mind was a '71 3/4 ton that the owner insisted on 225/50/16s on. The 4 tires barely came up to the empty weight of the truck. All 4 came back with belt separations within a month of installation, nevermind the diameter was too small for the gearing (307, 4 speed, 4.56 rear gears). Make sure that you check on the load ratings on the tires. You also may have to run higher inflation pressures to carry the load, leading to a harsher ride, may need softer springs to compensate.
