I smashed my brother's '70 GMC into a seven car pileup. We were able to bend the fenders back away from the tires and drive her home. Some people worry about the gas tank being only inches from your backside but they seem safe to me. Better than those Ford Pinto thingies that blew up with a minor fender bender.
