Picture of the old and new plug might help here.Do you have the old plugs from the wireing you took out?Sometimes you can take the old plug apart, unsolder the conectors and solder them back on your new wires.The only problem I can see with soldering them together is,if you ever need to replace the old wireing that its going to you'l have to cut them loose again.But then again it would be one less conection to go bad.
