Can't remember how I wired with old harness. Have new harness in with same set up. Solid state reg. No Currant reg. terminal. I can get it to charge, but test lite on case after engine is shut off. lite's the test bulb showing a discharge I guess. Can't remember how I did it before. Unless I ran it thru Ign. switch. Supplying currant to Alternater when running to excite it and then shutting it off with Ign switch. (how many amps can it carry, Ing Switch?. Can anyone figure this out? 1953 AD with old style Alt. new solid state ext. reg. thanks Sepp 22
