Wow ! Thanks everyone......enough info to keep me busy awhile.

One last thing only.....can anyone provide the one measurement that will give me the final verdict, in case I mess up on the calculations ? .....the length from the grille to the back of the box if debumpered.

Once the truck is roadworthy, bumpers can be re-attached and it can park on the road, and length is no longer a problem.
