Sounds like a plan.

Even if you use your original column, like I did, you need to wait till you get the steering gear box mounted before ordering the shaft and u-joints. Probably also a good idea to wait on installing the column till engine is in place, as you may need to change where it exits the cab slightly if it interferes with stuff.
