you got it Greg, every plant used local suppliers for out-sourced bits, and no doubt there was at least slight variation among all the plants for engine color, the factory was producing cheap consumer goods, not concours show trucks, and I doubt any buyer was grousing that the engine color delivered wasn't what was shown in the adverts
