I am finding all of your information interesting. It appears that your project is leaving no detail(s) left out. It would seem that your approach would be any vehicle owner's dream.
In all fairness, I feel that you should also pay as much attention to detail when it comes to the cost of having all this expertise brought into play on your project. Please provide us with what price all this expertise would cost the average joe, if he were to try to duplicate the steps that you are taking. It would seem that you are bring expertise into play that would not be available to the average folks, here at the 'Bolt.
For example, what would Craig be charging, per hour, for his observations and any actual work he is doing to your truck. And how many manhours went into this small part of your project.
Having the luxury of all the expertise that appears to be available to you is, practically speaking, not in the reach of most of us. I would love to be able to take my 1964 K10 Suburban and have it made 'NEW'. Or better than new. However, my economic situation does not permit this.
There are folks, such as Jay Leno, that have the resources to acquire very expensive "toys". I don't think there are many Jay Lenos here at the 'Bolt. I for one have limited resources that I am able to expend on my vehicles. I would not, for example, spend thousands more than necessary on a vehicle for a paint job.
From the information, you have provided, I gather that you are taking a "spare no expense" approach. However, if you are holding up "your" project as an example of what can be accomplished, then you should provide a realworld cost of the project.
