My '52 GMC 450 COE, http://www.classiccoe.com/friends/spanky/1952_spanky_1c.jpg was originally a hydraulic brake roadtractor. It had a Bendix vacuum operated hand control valve, that was mounted to the steering column, for use when applying the trailer brakes. That COE of yours would look great as a roadtractor. That's was the first thing I thought of, when I saw it. I've still got the fifth wheel off of mine, out in the shop, if your're interested in it. Already traded the saddle fuel tank, to another guy.
