hey guys, got my 3 inch front dropped axle from sid at droppedaxles.com today. i had him drop an axle 3 inches, narrow it 1 1/2 inches, for future power disc brakes, had him modify steering arm for newer type tapered ford tie rod ends, and also had him install the spindles and king pins. never messed with king pins before, so i think it was money well spent to have him install everything.
gonna order a tie rod tomorrow from speedway, and hope to tear into it by the following weekend.. gonne install the axle first, then if i want a little more drop will remove a couple front leafs to get desired ride height. not too low though.

out back i ahve 2 inch shackle extensions, and will remove a few leafs also out back, if needed.

cant wait to get my 57 dropped...will report when i get it done...leonard.
