Hey fredico, If that's the '54 Tandem, I saw on ebay, Chances are it's a Tandem Conversion, by either, Trucktor, Truckstell, Fabco, or Grico. And if this is inded the case, you can throw all the standard Factory specifications, out the window.These Tandem conversions were done for Chevrolet by outside jobbers, until 1956, when the first Factory Assembly Line Chevrolet Tandems were produced. If it's like the '54 Chevrolet 5400 COE Trucktor Tandem, I had. It will actually consist of a separate set of frame rails, with the tag axle attached, that will slide over the factory frame rails, all the way under the cab.
