For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 829 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 829 | I have been considering using a mobile home frame I have to make a long trailer. A tow/recovery friend of mine said that(at least in Texas) I wouldn't have to worry about CDL/commercial registration/comm. insurance. He said that as long as the car isn't on (or attached physically to) the truck, it's like having a pickup and a utility trailer.
I love the idea of putting a roll-back on a 2-ton, and I have often thought about doing so. I am not a tow driver(except my own private tasks), but I was worried about finding that one state trooper that wanted to write every ticket he could think of.(Murphy's Law) | | |
