anybody know if the differential from a later model diff from a gm 1 1/2 ton with a 10 bolt pattern will fit under a 51 1 1/2 ton with a 10 bolt pattern, 2 spd.? trying to get a higher ratio, and get away from the 2 speed. i think the bolt patterns are the same, so i can use the stock wheels. 48 mph top end ain't gonna get it, especially since the speed limit in front of my house is 55---and everybody goes 65.
