I am having trouble deciding what ratios will be best for my truck. Im running a stock 235 and a 3/4 ton rear converted to 4.10. I will never be hauling or towing anything in this truck; it wiil be a daily driver and spend a lot of time on the highway. I am considering a S10 tranny with 3.76 first and a .72 overdrive. This should put me at a little under 2200 rmp @ 70 with my 31.7 inch tall tires. I was wondering if there are any ratios that I should stay away from, besides an .86 overdrive unit? Which ones will give me a good balance between take-off and high way speeds?
