I was just installing a bunch of crap that I ordered up from Speedway. Among the crap was thrust bearing style kingpins and a disc brake. Their kit is marked as CPP's. My issue is that the bracket that holds the caliper is hitting the L-shaped steering stop bracket (it is retained to axle by kingpin locking bolt) that the spindle would normally hit. Has anyone else run into this with this kit? I figure I could clearance the bracket but I worry about removing too much meat, or clearance the stop but then I think the bracket would still end up hitting the nut on the bolt that retains the kingpin or just get rid of the stop and turn the kingpin bolt around. I'd call their tech but it is the weekend and they are closed- of course they would be at the time when the majority of people actually do their projects.
