In response to Joe, The bellhousing has the same bolt pattern, flywheel will be OK, probably need a different clutch for the T5. There are differences in the OD transmissions, if you have an early one with a 4 bolt side cover it has a non syncro first gear. The later one is a Saganaw, full syncro, 7 bolt side cover. If you have a late trans it is probably more of a heavy duty unit than the T5. If your current OD works you probably won't gain much for the expense of the conversion.
