If it's in decent shape, I'd disconnect the drive shaft, and make double sure the rear end is full of oil, and that the rear tires are in exellent condition. A blowout on a dolly towed rig is no fun for anyone, least of all for others who may share the road.
In short, a trailer is almost always better, but if you do dolly, take care.
