You also mentioned stainless hardware. If you buy the hardware pieces yourself go to a marine supply company. There are various qualties of stainless so buy their best. However you really only need stainless bolts. The nuts and washers can be ordinary steel as they will not be seen. It will save you money.
they may not show but without paint or zinc coating they sure as hell rust quick. i'd spent the little extra and get the ss washers and nuts just my 2 cents.Later Earl
