I picked up my 3/4" Oak at a local finishing lumber outlet. Was able to select for best grain / and colour. Had a friend run it thru his table saw to get the recessed edges. All said and done, cost me around $ 200.00. The stainless strips & bolt kit I purchased from Jim Carter
