I'm not much into motors, but it looks like I'm going to be. If it comes to it, I imagine the shop manual details how to pull the head off and put it back together. Kinda weird how the hood being off caused this, I did at least tape over the intake and make sure that was sealed all the time. It's a full pressure 228, so I suppose those aren't going to be to easy to find.
