Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 34 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 34 | the craze to nitrogen is simpley becouse regular compresed air contains water vapor and on an alluminium rim the moisture causes the rim to oxidize creating leaks or a bad seal, 100%nitrogen eliminates this problem. If you fill your tires with nitrogen once you have to maintain it with pure nitrogen otherwise you will contaminate and have to start all over. It can be costley but if you are sick of trying to figure out why your mag rims constantly leak it is a good solution.
