What about the Carter YF? Are those carbs any good, and is it a direct bolt on, ie, will it use the same linkage as a Monojet?
I have a 425 CFM Rochester 4GC off a 1962 283 I could use, but I'm skeptical about spending $180 or more for a good manifold when I think it may be to much carburetor for a mildly built 250.
I would like to keep things simple. I fish and hunt in places where, trust me, there ain't no hot rod parts to be found
