I've got an ignorant question to ask, with hopes of enlightenment.
Wanting to pull my 283 V-8 engine over the Christmas holiday. I'm trying to figure out what setup to use to pull it.
Can purchase $625 engine hoist (owwww) or try to rig a worm gear manual winch for a couple hundred. Obviously cheaper is better, unless it's too much of a risk of injury to people, or damage to equipment.
Any opinions would be much appreciated.
