Yea, the engine gray... that's why I quoted your reference to the engine gray, the engine gray that you snuck into the discussion... you know, the engine gray I quoted you referring to in your post.
I just found it interesting (not trying to be argumentative) that a car entered in a contest for historically accurate cars would have a color much lighter than the Hirsch Engine Gray that VCCA claims is actually lighter than the "correct" color.
Personally, I could give a fig... I'm painting mine the Hirsch Engine Gray. If it were any darker it would be black so there's either been a significant reformulation of their color or these photos are very light.
If there's any left over after my rebuild, I'll spay some and send you a sample.
