Look to auto paint stores, they have products to repair glass bodies on corvettes or go to a corvette supply.
Presently I do not know of an adhesive to glue glass to steel.
In all the vettes I ever worked on, excluding C5 & C6 vettes, steel was fastened to glass with rivets and adhesive. If the adhesive would have held by itself I don't think they would have used the rivets. The other way it was done was to rivet a glass strip to the steel and then it could now be just glued together which is nothing more than glass to glass.
All this doesn't say that there is not a product out there today. I have not had the need so I never looked.
