Dad had a 1967 Chevy cabover grain truck. I think it was a 50 series. It had a 327 and 4 speed/2 speed axle. Had a 16 ft grain bed on it. Thing would turn around on a dime and give 9 cents change. It was a fuel delivery truck before he got it. It didn't have power steering but he found a PS unit and put on it. It still had the big steering wheel that seemed like 40 cranks lock to lock to turn it. With a load had to wind the 327 pretty tight before shifting gears. Had a warped exhaust manifold that would blow a gasket about every other fall. Sure was noisy on top of the motor in that all steel cab. He retired two years ago and it went away-along with everything else.
