I'm running a 1406 Edelbrock on my otherwise stock 350. The stock jets, primary .098, secondary .095, were a little rich for the 350. I re-jetted to .095 primaries and .092 secondaries, using the stock metering rods. I like it a lot better. This is for economy, not high performance.

The Edelbrock carb manual has re-jetting and tuning info.

I also had the boil over problem Fred mentioned. A 1" spacer solved that. I'm using a stock mechanical pump.
