All trans. are geared 1 to 1 in high gear unless it has an o.drive. The best swap is a 5 speed from a mid 80,s S-10 2 wheel drive. The o-drive trans from 55-64 chev. pickups & cars is another option. There was an o-drive 4 speed used in the mid 80.s but they are pretty rare. There is a lot of info on this in the Tech section & search the archives.
