As to whether they are rebuildable, Chevy Duty told me that the area around the rubber seal was too corroded and pitted. My capilary tube was ok but the unit overall was in pretty bad shape. I suspect that most place that rebuild them need one in good enough shape to just take apart clean up and put back together with a new seal. Mine wasn't that good. I'll put an ad in Swap Meet. Thanks.
