| | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 60 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 60 | I have a 1962 261 that I want to put in my 55 pickup. It has a 327 in it now. Here is the problem. The 261 does not have the bolt holes for the front engine mounts like the 235 had. It has a front plate for a 2 ton truck. Has any one used the truck mount(the timing cover mount) on a 55 ? Think I can drill some holes in the front cross menber an mount it like a 1954 ? | | |
