Ok before this gets out of hand Hoosier is believed to have started when the settlers came to Indiana the folks would yell out the door Hoo's thar.
Now the Real Story!!! When Bobby Knight was a young coach and visiting our great farmlands where Basketball was played in little gyms, and Hay Mows of big Dairy and Cattle barns Coach Knight would hear of a great young talent. Being the Gentlemanly type such as he is; He would yell in the door and say "Hoosier Daddy" and a few times "Hoosier Momma". Of course the language has stuck until Coach Knight went to Texas. Now its "Wherez your daddy Cowboy" Thank you class is over.
