this old guy i knew got his p. licence signed by the wright brothers told me dont down shift unless you realy have to and your tranny will last twice as long so when im coming up to a stop i just pop it in neutral till i stop and start out in first only time i do down shift is for hill but i think he was right i think it keeps a lot of ware out of the tranny also some stp. mixed in the lube will make a gringing tranny shift smoother
