You have it figured correctly on the line to the center oiler (rockers). You will have to purchase a new one when it's time to reinstall.
The road draft tube should have one small screw on a small bracket, then some gentle work with a dead blow hammer and it should come out. It is a tight fit in the block and years of crud doesn't help the situation. The twist & wiggle routine as you pull outward usually gets the job done.
