I was looking at Classic Performance Products aka;CPP, Disc brake conversion tech article this morning and the first thing that came to mind was the line pressures. Aren’t the disc brakes going to require a higher pressure to operate then the rear drum brakes? Seems like you would be locking up the rear brakes with this set up. Maybe I just missed it when I skimmed over the instructions but I don’t think they didn’t make any mention of the need for a proportioning valve if you install the disc brake conversion kit.
No, I’m not throwing in the towel; I’m still the same old purist I always was. It’s just that I’m always interested in what others are doing and might be asked by someone to help out someday.
