With what you have, what would make it go faster at a lower RPM, would be to change the gears in the rear-end.

What kind of gears would work in the '65 3/4-ton rear end? Anything from a 1/2-ton? I only know a little about '63 and up trucks and absolutely nothing about 3/4-ton trucks!
