#37680 03/27/2003 3:31 AM | Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 16 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 16 | ok so i am finallygettign around to putting it back together. i put in the crank checked all the main bearing clearances pulled the crank back out put in the rope seal and then put everything back in. now the crank is really hard to turn. i can't turn it with my hands i have to put a screw driver on the crank bolts at the end is this normal with a new rope seal? ive rebuild a couple engines mostly v8's before but not a inline 6.
