Hey guys I'm looking for your help again. When I brought this truck home the carrier was trash, so I finally got it out and can't seem to figure out how to get it off. I don't even know if this is the original shaft or not- it's a '49 3/4 ton. Here is a pic of it so you can tell me what ya think.

Here also are some pics of the 4 speed floor shift tranny that's in it (note the custom made crossmemeber!) I would like to see if anyone can tell me the model # or if it's even the original tranny. The truck now has a 250 inline in it. Or where I can find the # on the tranny. Thanks again guys!
