Hello everyone!

I have been lurking for about a year now and finally decided to join as I will actaully begin my restoration project of our truck that a friend gave to us.

It is a 1951 3100 1/2ton (20JPB3159)Feb 1951. I think it has a 235 although I am not exactly positive. More on that as I get into it. It does have a Manual trans on the floor with a PTO as well. The story I have on the truck is that originally belonged to the SanDiego School District and they are the ones that ordered it with the PTO. It is mostly intact, with a little cab rust on the pass right front side wall below the dash, a bad dent in the left rear fender. Other than that it looks like it is mostly complete. It is missing the original rear bumper. This truck needs a ton of work but I am looking forward to it!

I have learned a great deal from all of you Stove-Bolter's in the past 6 months just by reading the forum and website. I really look forward to getting some more advice from people that "have been there and done it" and will be happy to share this project with you all!

The truck was on the road in 1990 but has been sitting ever since...my hope is that it will start once I go through the
steps to get it ready.
