#37407 01/20/2005 4:43 PM | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 297 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 297 | i do not have an oil filter on my 235. just try to change the oil when it starts getting dirty. motor is out of a 62 chevy pickup and did not have a filter when i got it and my original motor that i replaced did not have one either. i believe they were considered an option in 54.
