Heres my 2 pennies,
If you search around a bit there is a lot more problems afterwards ...after dipping as the liquid can hide in all the nooks an crannys ..and eventually come back to haunt you in finished paint .
Media blasting done right can come out perfect , now that said ...it requires an expeirienced blaster to do this .
I had ALL my sheetmetal blasted by a gent that knows his work , and i was super pleased ,actually he left some bondo on my hood that he was in his words NOT GOIN AFTER ..(my center strip was bondoed shut)..for the fact of overheating the hood , he told me i would have to get that at home with my orbital sander ,wich i did in like 10 minutes.
look around a bit before deciding .
and search reports on blasting vrs. dipping results here on the forum.
