The 8V-71 is a V-8 arrangement of 71 cube cylinders, in power ratings like 290, 318, 335, and 350 HP versions. The fuel injector nozzle size, max RPM setting and with or without a turbocharger changed the horsepower of the same 568 cubic inch engine.

Then there's the 1,2,3,4 and 6-cylinder inlines, with cylinder displacements of 53 or 71 cubes, a 6V-53, 6V-71, and 6V-92 engine, plus an 8V-92 model.

Then there are the big ones, marine engines up to V-16, with cylinders of 100+ cubes.
