True, same engines, just updated the name from GM Diesel to Detroit Diesel at some point.

Most people, even those who understand the difference, just refer to any of the two cycle GM/Detroit Diesels built from about 1938 on as "Detroit Diesels". Although technically the old ones are GM Diesels.
